Velma D. Jones Passes Away
Velma D. Jones departed this life on May 28, 2025, after a short illness. She served the university in the University Bookstore, Physical Plant (Facilities), and the Lyman Beecher Brooks Library until her retirement, with nearly 50 years of service. She was an active member of NSURA, NSUAEOP, VAEOP, and NAEOP. She loved Norfolk State University and was a true Spartan through and through. Gone, but will never be forgotten.
