University Celebrates Earth Day–April 22

Earth Day, held annually in the U.S. on April 22, seeks to bring awareness and action to the environmental impact on our world.

On Tuesday, Norfolk State will mark Earth Day with activities that demonstrate how we all can take action from displays and demonstrations to paper shredding and recycling.

• Biology Department’s Water Quality Testing Demonstration
• Elizabeth River Project’s River Animals Demonstration
• Adopt-a-plant to take home #GETOUTSIDE with the Biology Society
