Undergraduate and Graduate Student Research Innovation Symposium Exhibition Conference
Norfolk State University's Annual Undergraduate and Graduate Research Innovation Symposium Exhbition (RISE) 2025 provides an opportunity for Spartans to showcase their research and scholastic endeavors through research posters, slide presentations, business plans and pitches, artistic exhibits and more! The Annual Student Conference is open to all NSU students.
Here is the
CFP for students. We are encouraging students to present posters that can be adapted for any discipline as a succinct format for presentation. We are also encouraging the arts to present exhibitions and for business to consider pitches and other innovative presentations. Students must be "sponsored" by a faculty member. Abstracts are due March 7.
Lastly, we ask that faculty consider bringing their classes to the conference to increase exposure to professional academic conferences. We will begin the day with an Opening Plenary speaker (9 a.m. - 10 a.m.) and the conference continues with student presentations from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
