The Norfolk Review is a literary journal housed in the English department at Norfolk State University. We are accepting submissions of poetry, prose, fiction, creative nonfiction, art, and photography for our Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 issues as well as our Special Study Abroad issue!

We’re looking for writers who are looking to be seen through their creative work, and who have something to say to the world. We welcome the artistic expression of all, especially from those who are part of our Norfolk State University community. Submissions are open to the public and are peer reviewed.
