The event, held in observance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) 2024, aims to foster awareness, support, and dialogue around sexual assault prevention on campus.

Teal Tuesday Table Talk Event
Our "Teal Tuesday Table Talk" event will offer students an opportunity to engage in interactive discussions, access informative resources and giveaways, and take the "Start by Believing Pledge", committing to support survivors of sexual assault. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their best teal-colored attire to show their solidarity in the fight against sexual violence. "We believe it's crucial to create spaces where students feel empowered to discuss and address issues of sexual assault prevention," said Dr. Tonya M. Shell, Program Director of the OVW Campus Prevention & Response Program. "Teal Tuesday Table Talk" also aims to empower the NSU community to take a stand against sexual assault and create a campus environment where all students feel safe, valued, and supported. Together, let's raise awareness, foster understanding, and work towards a future free from sexual violence.
