Ta-Nehisi Coates to Visit NSU 

We are excited to announce that the nationally acclaimed author and journalist, Ta-Nehisi Coates, will be visiting NSU as a distinguished guest as part of our Common Reader and QEP (Quality Enhancement Plan) initiatives. 

Our Common Reader program  is a significant campus-wide endeavor aimed at fostering community engagement through reading. This initiative aligns with our QEP, which focuses on the importance of close reading for effective writing. Coates will delve into this year’s selected reading, “The Beautiful Struggle”, during his visit on October 19, 2023.
