Calling all Faculty, Administrators, and Staff,

Launching a new program, modification, organizational change, shifting a degree online, opening an off-campus instructional site, or changing credit hours can all trigger Substantive Change requirements. Failure to report these changes can result in serious accreditation consequences—including sanctions, loss of Title IV funding eligibility, and reputational harm.

Join us for a practical workshop that demystifies the rules, timelines, and campus workflow so you can plan confidently and keep our accreditation in good standing.

You will learn how to:
• Recognize which actions require notification versus prior SACSCOC approval
• Understand the risks of unreported substantive changes and how to avoid them
• Map proposals to the correct SACSCOC category and lead times
• Build a compliant submission packet with required narratives and documentation
• Align campus governance steps with state approvals and internal deadlines

This workshop will highlight common oversights—such as modifications, online conversions, off-campus instructional activity, or program length adjustments—that often slip through internal review.
