Support Resource for the NSU Community: Reminder

 

The NSU Counseling Center will offer mental health support for students who have experienced distress related to the recent incident involving our fellow Spartans. The Counseling Center offers a safe and confidential environment for students to process their feelings with experienced mental health professionals.  If support is needed, please call (757) 823-8173 during business hours and 757-823-9000 after hours to speak with an on-call counselor.  Students can also utilize Timely Care (timelycare.com/nsu) for 24/7 free and confidential telehealth mental health support.
 

Faculty and staff can access free and confidential mental health support 24/7 through Timely Care (timelycare.com/nsu), a virtual health and well-being app for faculty and staff accessible on Apple or Android devices. Additionally, faculty and staff can utilize the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through their insurance by contacting the EAP/Behavioral Health phone number on their health insurance card.  Processing spaces will be available for Students in the Student Services building, Rooms 312 and 313 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
