Black Maternal Child Health Conference 2025
The NSU Center of Excellence in Minority Health Disparities and the NSU Health & Wellness Initiative for Women will be hosting the Black Maternal Child Health Conference on campus Friday, April 11 in the Nursing and General Education Building, Room 205 at 8:30 a.m.
This is a regional conference sponsored by the Consortium for Infant and Child Health (CINCH) Black Maternal Health Equity Action Alliance. The theme for the conference is "Standing to Protect Black Maternity: Breaking Barriers and Empowering Change." We are looking forward to welcoming moms, dads, families, advocates and professionals to attend this unique opportunity to learn and dialogue together on this important topic!
The conference is free and open to all.
Join us in creating lasting change to ensure every Black birthing individual has the right to a healthy pregnancy and safe birth!
Registration: 7:30-8:30 a.m.
Program: 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
After Party: 3:30-5 p.m.
