DESCRIPTION:Suicide Alert Certification: \n\n \n\nSafeTALK\, is a 3.5 hour 
 training that prepares participants to identify persons with thoughts of su
 icide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. Most people with tho
 ughts of suicide invite help to stay safe. Alert helpers know how to use th
 ese opportunities to support that desire for safety. As a SafeTALK-trained 
 suicide alert helper\, you will be better able to:\n\nmove beyond common te
 ndencies to miss\, dismiss or avoid suicide.identify people who have though
 ts of suicide.apply the TALK steps (Tell\, Ask\, Listen and KeepSafe) to co
 nnect a person with suicide thoughts to suicide first aid\, intervention ca
 regivers. \n\nVideo clips illustrate both non-alert and alert responses. Di
 scussion and practice help stimulate learning. Learn steps that contribute
