Office Closures

Several offices remain closed and will reopen over the next couple of weeks. Please see the list below: 

Writing Center
The NSU Writing Center will be closed through January 5, 2025. Regular consultations will be available starting Monday, January 6; to book an appointment, email writingcenter@nsu.edu. 

Office of Testing Services 
The Office of Testing Services will be closed through January 8, 2025. Please call one of the following phone numbers for support with testing issues.

• Evolve/Elsevier registration and payment: 1(800) 222-9570

Health Center
The Health Center is closed due to planned renovations aimed at improving facilities and services. The center is expected to reopen on January 20, 2025.

Students in need of health services can access essential health services through the following alternatives:

• For Non-Emergency Health Concerns
  Students are encouraged to contact Dr. Keisha M. Taylor, Executive Director of Student Health Services, at 757-278-4363 or via email at kmtaylor@nsu.edu to schedule an appointment with our new Medical Director who is located next to campus near Spartan Suites.
   
• For Emergency Health Concerns
  Call NSU Campus Police at 823-9000 or 911 if you are feeling confused, your lips turning blue, constant chest pain/pressure, unable to breathe, or excessive sleepiness.
