Norfolk State Claims Fourth Straight MEAC Indoor Championship Title

The Norfolk State men's track & field team put on a show at the MEAC Indoor Championships, claiming its fourth consecutive title. The Spartans won the event with 202 total points. Howard followed in second (106 points) while Coppin State took third (82 points).

"Everyone contributed to this program's success," Director of Track & Field Programs

Kenneth Giles said. "We couldn't have done it without outstanding coaching and a support staff. We showed that we can compete with some of the best programs in the country this weekend."

Norfolk State Women
The Norfolk State women's track team earned a second-place finish at the MEAC Indoor Championships on Monday afternoon. Howard won the title with 256 points. NSU followed with 135 points, while North Carolina Central took third with 60 points.

The Spartans now turn their attention to the NCAA Indoor Championships, taking place March 14-15 at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex.
