McDemmond Center - Lot 32 Designated Parking for Amtrak Cell Phone Waiting Area

The Norfolk State University has reached an agreement with the City of Norfolk to provide Cell Phone Waiting Area parking for Amtrak in Lot 32, which is located behind McDemmond Center. The purpose of the Cell Phone Waiting Area is to provide designated space where people waiting for Amtrak riders can wait in their vehicle until they receive notification to pick up the Amtrak rider.

Beginning on Friday, April 4, NSU Parking will begin enforcing the designated Amtrak spaces marked with signage to ensure NSU students, faculty, staff and visitors are not parking in the designated spaces. All unattended vehicles occupying the Cell Phone Waiting Area’s designated spaces are subject to enforcement in accordance with NSU policies.
