Election Season Events & Transportation Information

With election season upon us, we’re excited to support voter engagement across campus! Here are some upcoming events and details about transportation for early voting and Election Day:

Respect My Vote Campaign!

Date: October 3

Time: 4-5 p.m.

Location: Student Center Lobby

Underwater Projects

Date: October 3

Time: 6-7:30 p.m.

Location: Dorothy B. Brothers Auditorium, Student Center, Room 149

Spartan Voter Registration Drives

Date: October 1, 8, and 15

Time: 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Location: Student Center Lobby

The last day to register to vote for this election cycle in the state of Virginia is October 15!

Spartans Rock the Vote!

Date: November 1

Time: 6-7:30 p.m.

Location: Dorothy B. Brothers Auditorium, Student Center, Room 149

Participate in a mock election to get familiar with the voting process!

Early Voting Transportation

Starting on Wednesday, September 25, free shuttles will be available for students to early voting

sites on Wednesdays and Thursdays through the end of October. Shuttles will depart from the

rear of the Student Center every hour between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Election Day Transportation

On Election Day November 5, shuttles will run continuously between campus and the voting

precincts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Catch a ride from the Student Center.

*Make your voice heard! Whether you’re voting early or on Election Day, be sure to bring your ID.

Your Norfolk State University ID is considered an acceptable form of identification at the polls!
