Echols Hall Road Closure January 29, 30 & 31, 2025

Starting Wednesday, January 29, 2025, and ending on Friday, January 31, 2025, the road in front of Echols Hall will be closed for crane operations. There will be no parking within the Construction Zone as equipment will be lifted on and off the roof of Echols Hall.  

Please be advised of the following:  

• Echols Hall will remain open for normal operations.
• The Crane will remain on-site for the duration of the road closure.  
• Detour signs & Barricades will be in place to route traffic to Gym Road to access Spartan Suites and the north side of Echols Hall.     
• Handicapped Parking spaces will be temporally relocated as necessary to allow access to Echols Hall.    
• Safety Barriers will be in place to direct pedestrian traffic, as the Main Entrance to Echols will be closed during lifting operations.  
• Lot 10, next to the Ticket Booth and Wood Science, will be accessible. Contractors will leave one entrance open during this operation.
