Measuring Success: NSU Website & Event Calendar Analytics
Tracking visitor traffic, search performance, and AI discovery across campus.
Dive into the Data!
Join Debbie Lyn Jones on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for a direct look at how visitors, search engines, and AI-powered discovery tools interact with Norfolk State University web pages and event listings.
What We Will Cover
Using Google Looker Studio reports connected directly to Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, I connect to raw data sources, apply custom filters, and segment traffic to see how audiences engage with our content.
In this 60-minute session, we will cover:
-
Where the Reports Live: Accessing existing university dashboards for general site traffic, event calendar activity, and AI-driven search referrals.
-
Reading the Metrics: Reviewing key data points—top landing pages, the exact search queries people use to find campus pages, audience trends, and mobile vs. desktop readership.
-
Requesting a Custom Department Dashboard: The intake workflow for requesting a dedicated Looker Studio report configured specifically for your school, department, or program, including how I set up the custom logic and tracking for your section.
