This engaging summit will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and will be accessible both in-person at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) and virtually via Zoom.

Keynote speaker, Commissioner Karen Shelton, will outline significant health statistics for the Commonwealth of Virginia and Eastern Virginia, and explain the social determinants that impact health, functioning, and quality of life outcomes. Panel discussions will explore the intersection of health and housing, plus the economic perspective on population health. There will be an interactive forum on continuing medical education moderated by Felicia Mebane, PhD, MSPH
