The Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Norfolk State University houses three academic programs: Fine Arts, Music, and Drama & Theatre. It is also the home of NSU Choirs, James Wise Art Gallery, NSU Jazz Ensembles, NSU Theatre Company, and Spartan Legion Marching Band.
